Terms of Service

The terms on which we accept, carry and deliver your shipments.

Last updated October 2026. By booking a shipment with SwiftOneDelivery you agree to the terms below.

1. Bookings

A booking is confirmed when we issue a tracking number. Rates quoted are based on the details you supply; if the actual weight, dimensions or contents differ materially, we may re-rate the shipment and will tell you before it moves.

2. What we will not carry

We do not accept cash and negotiable instruments, live animals, human remains, illegal goods, or items prohibited by any territory on the route. Dangerous goods are accepted only where declared in advance and accepted in writing. Undeclared prohibited items may be held or surrendered to the authorities.

3. Collection and delivery

Transit times are estimates given in good faith, not guarantees, unless you have purchased a guaranteed service in writing. We may deliver to a person at the address who appears authorised to accept the shipment, to a neighbour, or to a secure location where the receiver has instructed it. Proof of delivery is captured against the tracking record.

4. Customs

Where we act as your agent for customs, you are responsible for the accuracy of the declared value, contents description and any documentation. Duties, taxes and storage charges levied by an authority are payable by the party named on the booking.

5. Liability

Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the applicable international convention for the mode used — the Montreal Convention for air, the Hague-Visby Rules for sea, and CMR for international road carriage — or, where none applies, to the declared value of the shipment. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or missed opportunity.

6. Claims

Claims for damage must be notified within 7 days of delivery, and for loss within 30 days of the collection date, quoting the tracking number. Keep the packaging — we may need to inspect it.

7. Payment

Invoices are payable within the terms stated on them. We may exercise a lien over goods in our possession for unpaid charges relating to those goods.

8. Tracking service

The tracking page is provided for information. Anyone holding a tracking number can view the status and route of that shipment — please share the link only with people you intend to have that visibility. Tracking data is posted by our operations teams and may lag a physical movement by a short period.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here on the date your booking is confirmed.
